We in Katy Zero Tolerance initially focused on seeking relief from the district’s administration and school board. We had many voices but apparently not enough. Very little was changed and so each day, there is a chance that another kid will have to face a nightmare because the district’s administration failed to apply common sense. They say their hands are tied. So, now we’re trying to untie those hands and see if they really are there for the benefit of our children.
No doubt, many of you in other districts may have tried similar tactics with little help from your elected officials.
The problem is that most of the cases are few and far between and our voices aren’t loud enough for them to fear losing their jobs.
We have seen that by emailing our School Board Trustees, nothing has happened. And we will continue to try, so, we ask you to do the same.
